Endodontics

Save your natural tooth with gentle, precise root canal care.

YOUR TRUSTED PROVIDER

A damaged or infected tooth doesn't have to mean losing it. Root canal therapy removes the source of pain and infection while preserving your natural tooth structure — restoring comfort and function with minimal disruption to your smile.

OUR TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY

Saving Your Natural Tooth, Whenever Possible

Root canal treatment relieves pain, stops infection from spreading, and lets you keep the tooth you were born with — avoiding the cost, time, and adjustment of a bridge or implant down the road.

We believe in the least invasive path that gets you healthy. Removing a tooth is often quicker, but it's rarely the best long-term choice — our team always looks for ways to treat, preserve, and protect your natural teeth first.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Common Questions About Endodontics

How do I know if I need a root canal?+

Common signs include persistent tooth pain, sensitivity to hot or cold that lingers, swelling or tenderness in the gums, or a tooth that has darkened. A check-up and X-ray will confirm whether the nerve is infected.

Is root canal treatment painful?+

Modern root canal therapy is done under local anaesthesia and feels similar to getting a routine filling. It actually relieves the pain caused by the underlying infection rather than causing it.

Is sedation available for root canal treatment?+

Yes. In addition to standard local anaesthesia, we offer sedation options for anxious or particularly nervous patients undergoing root canal treatment. Just let our team know beforehand so we can prepare the right option and make your visit as comfortable as possible.

Will I need a crown after my root canal?+

In most cases, yes — especially for back teeth. A crown restores the tooth's strength and protects it from fracture after the nerve has been removed.

How many visits does root canal treatment take?+

Most cases are completed in one to two visits, depending on the tooth's location and the complexity of the infection.

What happens if I leave an infected tooth untreated?+

The infection can spread, leading to an abscess, bone loss around the tooth, and eventually tooth loss. Early treatment is the best way to avoid more complex procedures later.

How much does root canal treatment cost?+

Pricing depends on the tooth: RM1,000–RM1,200 for front teeth, RM1,200–RM1,500 for premolars, and RM1,600–RM1,800 for molars (case by case). A ceramic crown afterward is RM2,500, or RM1,500 for a PFM crown. Consultation is free.
